Judy Ellen Allmon, 78, a lifetime resident of Wabash County, Indiana, passed away at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday morning, December 6, 2025, at Wabash Parkview Hospital. She was born one hour before her twin brother on June 25, 1947, in Wabash to Viola and John Lehner.

Judy was a 1966 graduate of Wabash High School. 

Judy married Carl Ross of Lagro on June 19, 1971. Together they had two children, Scott and Kim. 

Judy then married Robert Allmon on October 27, 1991, and were partners in life for over 34 years. 

Judy spent many years working in the culinary arts. She worked with a number of chefs at the Wabash County Club, including Robert Allmon, whom she followed to work for Richard E. Ford/Charley Creek Foundation until her retirement. She was a dedicated worker and enjoyed learning new recipes and concepts from all of those she worked with. She enjoyed allowing her artistic side to shine as she prepared various dishes for presentation. 

Judy also loved children. She could not allow a baby to go past her in a store without cooing and making the baby smile, as well as the parents or grandparents. She loved shopping, scary movies, jewelry, and watching the jewelry channel. Judy was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan because of Patrick Mahomes. 

Judy is survived by her husband Robert of Urbana; one son, Scott (Kami) Ross of Lagro; one daughter Kimberly (Douglas) Bollan of Wabash; three grandsons, Nicholas Bollan of Wabash, Chase Ross and Noah Ross of Lagro. Her twin brother John (Marsha) Lehner of Wabash also survives, as well as numerous nephews and nieces and their children. 

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash Chapel, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery. 

Visitation for friends and family will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the funeral home.
