Paul Joseph Houlihan

Paul Joseph Houlihan, 82, of Peru, Indiana passed away at 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Hickory Creek in Peru, Indiana. He was born to the late Paul and Phoebe (Millican) Houlihan on December 31, 1933 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Paul was a graduate of Chippewa High School. He married Sondra Cattin on August 10, 1957, she survives in Peru, Indiana. Paul served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Dana Corporation in Marion, Indiana.

Along with his wife, Sondra; he is survived by two sons, Gary Houlihan (Nancy) of Warsaw, Indiana and Greg Houlihan (Sally) of Wabash, Indiana; daughter, Colette Sidwell of Peru, Indiana; brother, Thomas Edward Houlihan (Marcella) of Wabash, Indiana; sister, Mary Katherine Prickett of Wabash, Indiana; two sister-law-laws, Barbara Sue Houlihan of Peru, Indiana and Karen Houlihan of Andrews, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Taylor, Brett, Mathew, Jessica, Brandon, and Michael; and five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two sons, Mark and Curtis Houlihan, brothers, Jeffery Alvin and James Patrick Houlihan, and sisters, Barbara Ann Stickley and Sarah Jane Bertels.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Rev. Eric Catron officiating. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Bernice Miltenberger-Grover

Bernice Miltenberger-Grover, 99, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor East in Wabash, Indiana. She was born to the late William and Margaret (Pierson) Sweet on November 3, 1916 in Cass County, Indiana.

Bernice married Walter D. Miltenberger on June 28, 1936, he passed away on October 19, 1958; then she married Russell Grover on September 14, 1964, he passed away on April 2, 1968. She worked for Whites Institute for 30 years and was an Adult Director for WCH of Kokomo, Indiana for 5 years. Bernice was a member of Wabash Presbyterian Church of Wabash, Indiana.
Also a member of Eastern Star of Wabash and a board member of Woman’s Clubhouse of Wabash, Indiana.

She is survived by Step Children, Dennis Grover of Kokomo, Indiana, Janette Gilberto of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Marilyn Kemeza of Newnan, Georgia, Joan Long of Kokomo, Indiana, Dee Adkins of Kokomo, Indiana, and Ken Grover of Kokomo, Indiana; nieces, Nancy (Roger) Panning of Wabash, Indiana and Sue (Robert) Mitting of Wabash, Indiana; sister, Donna Seeley of Chicago Park, California; 26 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by step children, Jerry Grover, Pat Wesling, and Lenny Grover, brother, Bud Sweet, sister, Bettie Schlemmer, and 2 nephews, Max Miltenberger and Phil Miltenberger.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Brad Wright. Burial will follow in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana. Preferred memorials are directed to White’s Residential and Family Services, 5233 S. 50 E., Wabash, Indiana 46992.

Linda M. Bayliss

Linda M. Bayliss, 76, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 2:27 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at her home. She was born to the late Charles and Mildred (Steltz) Shallenberg on December 22, 1939 in Salem, Ohio.

She was a 1961 graduate from Salineville High School. Linda married Carlton H. Bayliss on June 13, 1961, he passed away on December 20, 2003. She attended Christian Heritage Church in Wabash, Indiana and volunteered at Wabash County Hospital. Linda was a homemaker to her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Ortega of Florida; brothers, Kenny Pitts of Columbus, Ohio and Wayne Pitts of Cleveland, Ohio; sister, Lois Carson of Ohio; caregivers and niece, Sabrina (Pat) Gaylourd of Wabash, Indiana. She is preceded in death by a son, Tim Bayliss in 2009, a brother and three sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Tim Prater. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion, Indiana. Preferred memorials are directed to Shepherds Ministries (A non-profit organization for the disabled), 1805 15th Avenue, Union Grove, WI 53182.
