Wilma Jean Snapp


Wilma Jean Snapp, 91, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 7:27 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Parkview Wabash Hospital in Wabash, Indiana. She was born to the late Charles Alber and Mary Elizabeth (Grimes) Goble on September 23, 1924 in Peru, Indiana.

Wilma Jean married Rex H. Snapp on August 30, 1941, he passed away on March 11, 2008. She was a member of Richvalley United Methodist Church in Richvalley, Indiana. Wilma Jean enjoyed her animals and yard.

She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Ginger (Lawrence) Benedict of Wabash, Indiana, Candace Adams of Wabash, Indiana, and Mrs. Beverly (John) Hostetler of Peru, Indiana; son, Jerry Snapp (Deb) of Linton, Indiana; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Rev. Douglas H. Barber officiating. Burial will follow at the Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Indiana. Preferred memorials are directed to Wabash County Animal Shelter, 810 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992.

Christopher J. Stout

Christopher J. Stout, 24, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 4:55 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on July 14, 1992 in Wabash, Indiana to Gary Wayne and Kelly Jo (McGinnis) Stout, they survive in Wabash, Indiana.

Chris was a 2011 graduate from Wabash High School and a 2016 graduate from IUK with a Bachelor’s Degree. He formerly worked at Builders Mart in Wabash, Indiana, while attending college. Christopher was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was a youth bowler where he won many awards and he loved shooting guns with his dad.

Along with his parents, Gary and Kelly; he is survived by two uncles, Rick McGinnis and Keith Stout both of Wabash, Indiana; aunt, Deb Corn of Wabash, Indiana; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by six grandparents and three uncles.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Joseph Seaborn officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are directed to funeral home to offset funeral expenses. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.mcdonaldfunerals.com
