Marjorie Joann Miracle

Marjorie Joann Miracle, 68, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 9:50 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at her home. She was born to the late Raymond George and Lela Gladys (McNeeley) King on August 22, 1944 in Wabash, Indiana.

She married Jack Miracle on October 31, 1984, he survives. She loved her family and enjoyed crossword puzzles, and writing recipes for her friends. She was a waitress and bartender. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary of Lagro, Indiana and Wabash Moose Lodge 1195 of Wabash, Indiana.

She is also survived by two sons, Timothy A. Miracle (Jennifer) of Wabash, Indiana and Raymond J. King (Mel) of Kokomo, Indiana; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sandra) Miracle-Cox of Wabash, Indiana, Tawna G. Miracle-Smith of Memphis, Tennessee and Ramona Miracle-Deschryuer of Florida; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral Service 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Phil Balay officiating. Burial will follow in the Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 12 noon until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Wabash/Miami County Home Healthcare and Hospice, 710 N. Kathryn Jeannette Hipskind

Kathryn Jeannette Hipskind, 94, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 2:55 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash, Indiana. She was born to the late Russell E. Thompson and Emma (Schultz) Delaplane on February 9, 1919 in Knox, Indiana.

She married Kenneth P. Hipskind on August 8, 1942, he passed away July 13, 1994. She retired as a R.N. from Wabash County Hospital and Millers Merry Manor of Wabash, Indiana. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church of Wabash, Indiana.

She is survived by three sons, Kevin P. Hipskind (Cinda) of Wabash, Indiana, Richard A. Hipskind (Deanne) of Valparaiso, Indiana, and James P. Hipskind (Nancy) of Charlotte, Michigan; three daughters, Mrs. Jon (Mary Suzanne) Grandstaff-Dunphy of Wabash, Indiana, Mrs. Jeffery (Elaine) Gaither of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Mrs. Dennis (Marissa) Brubaker of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her step father, W. K. Delaplane, son, John, daughter-in-law, Kathleen, a step sister, and three step brothers.

Mass of a Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 207 N. Cass Street, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Father Sextus Don officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Rosary at 7 p.m.. Robert M. "Bobby" Allen

Robert M. “Bobby” Allen, 74, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 4:45 p.m. in his home on Saturday, September 21, 2013. He was born to the late Otis and Georgia (Jewell) Allen on September 30, 1939 in Richlands, Virginia.

He graduated from Wabash High School in 1958, also with a Business Degree from International Business College. He retired from Wabash Alloys in 1995, after working 31 years. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, and guns in his younger days, even though Bobby was small he was tall in stature. He was a member of American Legion Post 15 in Wabash, Indiana, also he was a former member of the Eagles Lodge and Moose Lodge both of Wabash, Indiana.

He is survived by four grandchildren, Levi Allen of Wabash, Indiana, Austin Allen of Wisconsin, Rodney Vite of Tennessee, and Jacob Allen of Alabama; brother, Daniel Allen (Laurie) of Wabash, Indiana; sister, Mrs. Max (Velma) Pitts of Amboy, Indiana; and his loving dog, Boots. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin and brother, Hebie.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana, per Bobby’s wishes. Officiating the service will be Pastor Tim Prater. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery in Wabash.

Marvel Jane Renn

Marvel Jane Renn, 84, of Rural Wabash, Indiana passed away at 1 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Indiana. She was born to the late Hale and Bernice (Kline) Culp on July 14, 1929 in Marion, Indiana.

She was a 1947 graduate of Marion High School in Marion, Indiana. She married Fredrick Carl Renn in 1952, he passed away in 1983. She was a longtime bus driver for MSD Schools and kitchen aide for Southwood Elementary both in Wabash County, Indiana, also she worked at Prices Garden Center and as a telephone operator both in Marion, Indiana. She was a life member of Sigma Phi Gamma.

She is survived by two sons, Fred Renn of Phoenix, Arizona and Cris Renn of Wabash, Indiana; daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Juli) Youngberg of Ramsey, Minnesota; two granddaughters, Maggie and Molly Youngberg; and sister, Mrs. Jim (Sally) Baas of New Brighton, Minnesota.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940. Burial will follow in the Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Indiana.
