Florence Tyson

Florence Tyson, 101, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 26th,2016 at Millers Merry Manor East in Wabash, Indiana. She was born to Issac and Lessie (Copeland) Miller in Wabash, In 46992.
Florence married Byron Tyson of December 8th, 1933. He passed away on April 1st, 1988. She is survived by a son Charles Tyson and half sister Helen Williams, Both of Wabash. She is preceded in death by 2 sons Jerry and Junior Tyson, 2 daughters Marium and Marg. She is also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 1st, 2016 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating.

Billy Ray Mercer

Billy Ray Mercer, 79, of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at 11:25 a.m. on Monday, July 25th, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on November 11th, 1936 in Kaufman County, Texas to Bailey and Reba (Ashley) Mercer.  He married Dixie May (Endsley) Mercer on Feb 20th, 1959.
He graduated from Farmersville High School, Farmersville, Texas; class of 1956. Billy was a Millwright at General Motors in Marion, Indiana, where he retired after 25 years. Billy served in the United States Army 101st Airborne. He was a member of LaFontaine United Methodist Church and a loyal member of the United Auto Workers.
Billy is survived by a son, Joe (Donna) Mercer of LaFontaine, Indiana; 3 Daughters, Marti (Leroy) Striker of Wabash, Indiana, Elizabeth (Ron) Hostetler of Wolcottville, Indiana, and Amy (Jeremy Geiser) Mercer of Mason, Ohio; 4 sisters, Anita Durden, Rita Smith both of Garland, Texas, Frances (Paul) Chapman of Wiley Texas, and Barbara Walts of Corpus Christi, Texas. 10 grandchildren, Taylor (Jordan), Nicholas, Peter, Will, Mitchell, Jake, Chloe, Lily, Harry, and Annabelle.
Celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 29th, 2016 at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940, with Pastor Crystal Jacobson.

Jacquelyn Finnegan Lendman

Funeral services for Jacquelyn Finnegan Lendman, 90, of Hanceville will be held on Tuesday, July 26 at 6 pm at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-6 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery in Wabash Indiana.
Mrs. Lendman died on July 23. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ and was a resident of Hanceville for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ida Davis Conliff; first husband, Frank Finnegan; second husband, Paul Lendman; brothers, Max, William and John Conliff and sister, Maxine Hulbert.
She is survived by her sons, Frank Finnegan Jr. and Daniel Finnegan; daughter, Mrs. Ronnie (Juanita) Bevington; stepchildren, Calvin Lendman, Janet Fank and Sandy Coffin; brother, Phillip Conliff; sisters, Arlene Roberson, Doris Dickover, Joyce Cooper and Esther France; grandchildren, Bonnie Moore, Brenda Bevington, Brian Bevington, Eric Bevington, Frank Finnegan III; Beth Finnegan, Shey Finnegan, Flora Sanchez, Angela Wakefield and Erica Finnegan; seventeen great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren and special family friend, Carla McKee.
