Rosa L. Moore

 

Rosa Lee Moore, 89, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 6:15 p.m. on March 22, 2024, at Rolling Meadows Health Care Center in LaFontaine, Indiana. She was born on September 17, 1934, to Marvin Horner and Harriett Diezter in Elwood, Indiana.

Rosa married Artie Moore on April 10, 1952. He passed away April 6, 2011. She attended New Life Baptist Church in Wabash, Indiana. In her free time, she loved quilting, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed frying fish, but not eating them.

Rosa is survived by her two daughters; Ronda Moore of Kokomo, Indiana, Stacy (Chuck)  McColley of Wabash, Indiana; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Artie Moore; two sisters, Mattie Thompson, Sally Music; one brother, Lewis Horner; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, with Pastor Ron Forsythe and Reverend Robert VanCise officiating. Burial will follow at Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the funeral home.

Keith T. Dailey


Keith Thomas Dailey, 55, of Warsaw, Indiana, formerly of LaFontaine, passed away at 11:29 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Parkview Hospital Randellia in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on February 27, 1969 in Franklin, Indiana to Larry and Janet (Traver) Dailey.

Keith was a 1988 graduate of Southwood High School. He graduated from ITT Technical Institute with his Automated Manufactory Technology Diploma in engineering. He worked as a process engineer for Zimmer Biomet, Avalign, and Warsaw Coil all in Warsaw, Indiana. He held a membership at Stonehenge Golf Course where he spent time playing golf with his golf team. In his free time, he thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the gun range with his children, shooting and teaching gun safety. He also enjoyed working on vehicles and motorcycles, riding his Harley Davidson, and teaching his daughter the skill of art.

Keith is survived by his parents Larry and Janet Dailey both of LaFontaine, Indiana; two sons, Kevin and Nathan Dailey, both of Warsaw, Indiana; one daughter, Kaitlyn Dailey of St. Joseph, Michigan; one sister, Angela (Dailey) Underwood of LaFontaine, Indiana; one sister-in-law, Anna Dailey of Wabash, Indiana; two uncles, John (Theresa) Traver of Lafayette, Indiana, Jeffery (Abby) Traver of Wabash, Indiana; two nieces, Sierra Dailey of Wabash Indiana, Madison Underwood of LaFontaine, Indiana; and one nephew, Devon Dailey of Wabash, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his brother, Chad Dailey who passed away on August 19, 2017.

A Memorial Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. Inurnment will take place at Falls Cemetery, Wabash, Indiana at a later date.

Terry Jivery


Terry Allen Jivery, 77, of La Fontaine, Indiana passed away at 6:38 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Parkview Huntington in Huntington, Indiana. He was born on January 8, 1947 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Albert and Ann (Huff) Jivery.

Terry was a 1967 graduate of Southwood High School and served in the United States Air Force. He married his wife Phyllis Eileen Waite on January 24, 1994. Terry worked at the Indiana Department of Transportation for 30 years before retiring in 2000. He enjoyed working on cars, being outdoors, his family, grandchildren, and Molly his dog.

Terry is survived by his wife Phyllis Jivery of LaFontaine, Indiana; two sons, Douglas Jivery of Mt. Hood, Oregon, Jeremy (Leia) Waite of LaFontaine, Indiana; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard and David Jivery; and one daughter, Angela Bowling.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery, Somerset, Indiana.

Blake A. Jamerson

 


Blake A. Jamerson, 32, of Marion, Indiana, formerly of Wabash, passed away at 10:31 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at his residence in Marion, Indiana. He was born on March 4, 1992, to Gregory and Stacey (Shipper) Jamerson in Wabash, Indiana.

Blake was a 2010 graduate of Wabash High School. He was enrolled at Ivy Tech College in Marion, Indiana, as a student.

Blake is survived by his father, Gregory Jamerson of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Mother, Stacey (Shipper) Jamerson of Peru, Indiana; Grandmother, Wilma Petry of North Manchester, Indiana; two sons, Jayden and Kayden Rangel both of Gas City, Indiana; one daughter, Carolyn Rangel of Gas City, Indiana; one bonus-child, Hayden Justice of Gas City, Indiana, two brothers; Matthew Jamerson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dustin Shipper of Tennessee; three sisters, Rashell Jamerson of Warsaw, Indiana, Linda Johnson of Peru, Indiana, Michelle Johnson of Peru, Indiana; and many aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 3:00 p.m., at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash Chapel, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992 with Pastor David Phillips officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mary Howard

 


Mary Kathryn "Kay" Howard, 89, Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Marion, Indiana passed away at 10:05 a.m. on March 10, 2024, at Community South Medical Center in Greenwood, Indiana. Heaven just became a little more interesting and lively. She was born on October 30, 1934, to Frederick and Nora (Baker) Chapman in Moultrie County, Illinois

 Mary graduated from Somerset High School in 1952, where she also participated in the band. She has passed her musical legacy onto a few of her children and grandchildren. On March 14, 1953, she married Richard “Red” Howard and they raised four wonderful boys.

In her spare time, she enjoyed decorating and making crafts. Mary was immensely creative. She thoroughly enjoyed cooking, baking, relishing her favorite foods. She also enjoyed listening to Ray Charles and Dave “Baby” Cortez. She had a legendary green thumb when working in her beautiful garden.

Mary is survived by her four sons; Dana (Patty) Howard of Rockville, Indiana, Tom (Cindy) Howard of Martinsville, Indiana, Pat (Cyndia) Howard of Tampa, Florida, and James Howard of Greenwood, Indiana; grandchildren, Kelly (Stacy) Howard, Chrissy Myers, Erica (Paul) Pritchard, Richard (Lane) Howard, Shawn (Shelby) Howard, Daniel (Amber) Howard, Kyle Howard, Jenna (Bradley) Wilson; Ten great-grandchildren, Cameron, Avery, Maverick, Victoria, Austin, Lena, Karisa, Corbin, Jaxson, and Harlie Mae; One great-great-grandson, Lucas. She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband; her sister, Irene Parks; her brother, Jim Chapman; and her half-brother, Loren Miller.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at LaFontaine I.O.O.F Cemetery, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940 with Pastor Susan Shambaugh officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the funeral home.
