Ellen Marie Paxton

Ellen Marie Paxton, 83, formerly of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, Indiana. She was born to the late Kenneth Leroy and Edna Victoria (Overholt) Bowser on January 20, 1930 at Beaver Dam Lake, Indiana.

She married Harmon W. Paxton on January 31, 1948, he passed away January 10, 1991. She retired from General Tire of Wabash,  Indiana, after 37 years. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Wabash, Indiana.

She is survived by two sons, Jack Paxton (Yavonne) of Wabash, Indiana and Larry Paxton (Joanna) of Huntington, Indiana; three daughters, Mrs. Mitchell (Victoria E.) Campbell of Wabash, Indiana, Mrs. Jerry (Connie) Enyeart of Liberty Mills, Indiana, and Phyllis Anne Paxton (Manny Garcia) of Andrews, Indiana; sister, Phyllis Hines of California; nine grandchildren, Brian Campbell (Tonya Kulczyk), Kevin Campbell (Wendy Gese), Scott Lamar (Jill), Timothy Lamar, Sabrina Laspina (Matt), Shawn Paxton, Stanley Enyeart (Nicole), Lucas Clark, and Emilie Garcia; and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by grandchild, Sharea Paxton, brother, sister and step sister.

Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Rev. Phil Lake officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery in Palestine, Indiana.

Lance K. Fox

Lance K. Fox, 44, of Wabash, Indiana passed away 1:25 a.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on September 14, 1968 in Portland, Oregon to the late Jan (Fritch) Votaw. His step father, Herbert Votaw, survives in Oregon.

Lance was a member of Wabash Eagles Lodge of Wabash, Indiana.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Grace Young of Wabash, Indiana; step son, Austin Young of Wabash, Indiana; step daughter, Christina Young of Wabash, Indiana; brothers and sisters, Marshall Fox of Pennsylvania, Michael Fox of Washington, Cherie Cone of Oregon, Sue Cone of Washington, Teresa Cone of Oregon, Alicia Cone of Hawaii, and Deanna Cone of California. He was preceded in death by a step daughter, Tiffany Gaceta.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, officiating will be Roxanne Mann.
Burial will be at a later date following cremation.

Betty Lou Faust

Betty Lou Faust, 89, formerly of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at 4:25 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Heritage Point Health Care in Warren, Indiana. She was born to the late Paul and Daisy (Palmer) Frank on May 16, 1923 in Wabash County, Indiana.

She was a 1941 graduate of LaFontaine High School. She married Jonathan G. Faust on December 24, 1941, he passed away December 12, 2009. She was a homemaker to her family and a bookkeeper to the family business, John Faust Construction. She was a member of Lincolnville United Methodist Church in Lincolnville, Indiana, also she was the church treasurer for 10 years.

She is survived by daughter, Jodie Elshire of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two sons, Terry Faust (Beverly) of Urbana, Indiana and Sam Faust (DeAnna) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three grandchildren, Andy Faust (Judi) of Dallas, Texas, Amy Pennington of Wabash, Indiana, and Katie Gengnagel (Fred) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 6 great grandchildren, Ian Faust, Megan Hoggarth, Stephen Peterson, Courtney Pennington, Zac Pennington, and Jeremiah Elshire; brother, Paul Frank (Rita) of Marion, Indiana; and sister-in-law, Bernice Frank of Wabash, Indiana. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie, two sisters, and a brother.

Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940, with Rev. Melissa Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Lincolnville United Methodist Church, 5848 E 500 S, Wabash, IN 46992.

William "Bill" R. Gault


William R. "Bill" Gault, 59, of Wabash, Indiana passed away 5:50 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash, Indiana. He was born to the late Earl R. and Ruthann (Hizer) Gault on November 18, 1953 in Rochester, Indiana.
He was a graduate of North Miami High School. He married Judy A. Gibson on May 14, 1974, she survives. He was a member of Christian Heritage Church in Wabash, Indiana.

Along with his wife, Judy; he is also survived by three sons, William L. Gault (Stacey) and James W. Gault both of Alice, Texas, and Raymond D. Gault of Wabash, Indiana; daughter, Mrs. Gwian (Judy M.) Doan of Wabash, Indiana; three brothers, Steve Gault (Nancy) of Mundelein, Illinois, Charles Gault (D.J.) of Rochester, Indiana, and Doug Gault (Laura) of Englewood, Ohio; sister, Rosemarie Kleber of Kokomo, Indiana; and eleven grandchildren. He is also survived by his K9 companion "Jake". He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue in Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be at a later date following cremation.

Eugenie Graham

Eugenie Graham, 97, formerly of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 12:00 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, Indiana. She was born to the late Frans and Jeannette (Riezouw) VenBurkom on November 20, 1915 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

She was a homemaker and a secretary for Humane Society. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She is survived by daughter, Mariette Barker of Wabash, Indiana and son, Hiddo Herman Dirker of Orlando, Florida; sister, Nettie V.D. Veen of O.S.N. Brant, Netherlands; 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded by three brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3741 W. 100 S., Wabash, Indiana 46992. Steven W. Janiszyn

Steven W. Janiszyn, 52, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013 at his sister's home in Wabash, Indiana. He was born on May 21, 1960 in Wabash, Indiana to William and Eunice (Hale) Janiszyn, they both survive in Wabash, Indiana. He was worked as a Automoblie Mechanic.

Along with his parents; he is survived by brother, Gregory J. Janiszyn (Nancy) of LaFontaine, Indiana; two sisters, Deborah Howard and Sherry Brainard both of Wabash, Indiana. He was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Lynn Rebholz.
