Alice "Tina" M. Steele



Alice M. "Tina" Steele, 55 a lifetime resident of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 5 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at her home. She was born on December 7, 1957 in Wabash, Indiana to Robert J. (Esta) Love Sr. and Marilyn (Warren) McClain both survive in Wabash, Indiana.

She was a 1976 graduate of Wabash High School. She worked at Marsh Grocery Store and Frances Slocum Bank both in Wabash, Indiana. She was a member of Moose Lodge, American Legion Auxiliary Post 15 and Eagles Lodge all of Wabash, Indiana.

Along with her parents; she is survived by her son, Jeremy Steele (Patty) of Wabash, Indiana; grandchildren, Allison Steele and Ashton Steele both of Wabash, Indiana; brother, Robert J. "Bob" Love Jr. of Wabash, Indiana; sister, Mrs. Kent (Tammy) Mullett of Wabash, Indiana; long time companion of Mark "Bernie" Carroll of Wabash, Indiana.


Service will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, officiating the service will be Pastor Tim Prater. Burial will follow at Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Augusta "Gussie" Sailors

Augusta "Gussie" Sailors, 84 of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 7:58 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2013  at Miller's Merry Manor East in Wabash, Indiana. She was born to the late Hoyle and Donna (Powers) Edmonds on October 29, 1928 in Harlan, Kentucky. She married Donald B. Sailors on March 7, 1953, he passed away on July 17, 1989. She was a homemaker to her family. 
She is survived by two sons, Tim Sailors of Wabash, Indiana and Donald Sailors (Debbie) of Pensacola, Florida; two daughters, Donna Thompson of Elkhart, Indiana and Mrs. Curtis (Violetta) Catt of Wabash, Indiana; two son-in-laws, Tom Schrader and Richard Strickler both of Wabash, Indiana; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sherry L. Schrader on June 23, 2010 and Cheryl Sue Strickler on March 2, 2011, two brothers and four sisters. 
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will follow in the Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana. 
Visitation for family and friends will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are directed to Miller's Merry Manor- Activities Fund, 1900 N. Annabelle Alexander


Annabelle Alexander, 86, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2013.  She was born on April 2, 1926, in Wabash, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lawrence Orville Yost and Mary Nettie (Moore) Yost.  Annabelle was preceded in death by her beloved husbands Austin Hileman and Donald Alexander, sisters Ruby Evans of Wabash and Betty Miller of Evansville, and brother Lawrence (Larry) Yost Jr. of Wabash, Indiana. 
   
Annabelle graduated from Wabash High School in 1944 and from the Kokomo School of Practical Nursing in 1970, where she earned a degree in Practical Nursing.  She retired after working 20 plus years as an LPN at the Wabash County Hospital, primarily in labor and delivery.  She often stated that being able to assist in the delivery of her grandchildren was the highlight of her nursing career.  Annabelle was a fifty year member of the Wabash Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a fifteen year member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Pasadena, Texas. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children Diana (Hileman) King and husband Dan of Pasadena, Texas, and Darrell Hileman and wife Kathy of Lake Placid, Florida; grandchildren Kevin Hileman of Elkhart, Indiana; Heather Masten of Pasadena, Texas; Kara Fulmer of Wabash, Indiana; Allison Weiss of Burlington, Massachusetts; and Chad Ewer of Friendswood, Texas; six great-grandchildren Corey, Audrey, Jordan, Paxton, Emma, and Dennis; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. 
Annabelle will be forever remembered for her gentle kindness, warmth and good humor.

David W. Dragstrem



David W. Dragstrem, 71 of Wabash passed away at 6:25 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born to the late Darwin R. and Opal (Swartz) Dragstrem on June 22, 1941 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
He was a 1960 graduate of Somerset High School. He married Alice J. Billiard on August 19, 1961, she survives. He owned Dragstrem Plumbing and Heating, then retired from McClure Oil in Marion, Indiana. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Along with his wife, Alice; he is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Bernice) Collins of Huntington, Indiana; brother, Steve Dragstrem (Cindy) of Marion, Indiana; two sisters, Barbara Bournique of Cincinnati, Ohio and Patty Miller of Wabash, Indiana. He is preceded in death by a brother.
A graveside service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Indiana, the message will be given by Greg Vaughn. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Kingdom  Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3741 W. 100 S., Wabash, Indiana 46992. Glenn E. Voris


Glenn E. Voris, 82 of Wabash passed away at 2:05 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre in Wabash, Indiana. He was born to the late John and Cleo (Hale) Voris on August 22, 1930.
He served his country in the United States Army. He married Birdena M. (Rigby) Voris on August 5, 1960, she passed away January 11, 2012. He was self employed as a contractor.
He is survived by two sons, Clinton Voris (Dawn) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Jim Voris of Wabash, Indiana; daughter, Mrs. Biff (Sandy) Barry of Clay, Kentucky; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

William E. "Bill" Huddleston



William E. "Bill" Huddleston, 79 of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 6:25 a.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born to the late Marion and Opal (Martin) Huddleston Sr. on October 15, 1933 in Wabash, Indiana. He is a lifetime resident of Wabash, Indiana.
He was a 1951 graduate of Linlawn High School. He married Peggy A. Middleton on August 22, 1953, she survives. He retired in 1996 as a supervisor from Container Corporation in Wabash, Indiana after 45 years.
Along with his wife, Peggy; he is survived by a son, William R. Huddleston (Gwen) of North Manchester, Indiana; daughter, Mrs. Jeri (Peggy Jo) Huston of Enterprise, Florida; sister, Mrs. Dareld (Betty) Randol of Wabash, Indiana; sister-in-law, Oleta Huddleston of Greencastle, Indiana; three grandchildren, two step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and six step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion Huddleston Jr. and James Huddleston; two sisters, Sara Huddleston and Beulah Bolsover.
Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Rev. Jonathan Cornell officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Sandra Jean Hancock


Sandra Jean Hancock passed peacefully away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Millers Merry Manor East in Wabash, Indiana, she was 76 years old. She was born to the late Darwin E. and Gertrude Elizabeth (Thompson) Unger on March 9, 1936 in Liberty Mills, Indiana.
She married William L. Hancock on September 20, 1952, he passed away July 13, 1999. She retired from Shirt Shed in Wabash, Indiana. She was affiliated with Wabash Friends Church in Wabash, Indiana.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by three sons, Vance Lee Hancock (Karena) of Chalfont, PA, Jedd Hancock (Lanita) of Lagro, IN and Timothy Hancock of Punxsutawney, PA; three daughters, Grace Ellen Webb (Comer), Cinthia White, and JoElaine Hancock all of Peru, IN; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor David Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
