Ann Jivery

Ann Jivery, 94, of Somerset, Indiana since 1950 passed away at 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in LaFontaine, Indiana. She was born to the late John and Emma (Osmundson) Huff on October 31, 1919 in Bismarck, North Dakota.
She was married to Albert L. Jivery on November 19, 1942, he passed away on May 15, 2000. She enjoyed crafting and her family meant everything to her. Ann was a homemaker to her family. She was a member of Converse United Methodist Church in Converse, Indiana.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Lyle Jivery of Alhambra, California, Terry Allen Jivery (Phyllis) of LaFontaine, Indiana and David Wayne Jivery (Kathy) of Somerset, Indiana; two brothers, Alvin Huff of Glenn County, Minnesota and John Huff of Bloomington, Minnesota; sister, Florence Sizer of Wisconsin; three grandsons, Scott Jivery of Kokomo, Indiana, Michael Jivery of Kentucky, and Doug Jivery of Oregon; two step grandchildren, Jeremy Waite of LaFontaine, Indiana and Angela Bowling of Wabash, Indiana; six great grandchildren, Derrick Jivery, Brandon Jivery, Elizabeth Jivery, Madison Jivery,  Allison Jivery, and Jackson David Jivery; and eight step great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Indiana, with Pastor Jeff Hierhalzer officiating. John G. Mugford

John G. Mugford, 60, a resident of North Manchester, Indiana for 40 years passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 in IU Health Goshen Hospital in Goshen, Indiana. He was born to the late Raymond J. Mugford Jr. and Myra (Bone) Mugford in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on August 15, 1953.
John was employed with the town of North Manchester, Indiana for 40 years and had been the Utility Supervisor for the last 20 years. John was a member and Vice Commander of the American Legion Post 286, Indiana Section American Water Works Association where he held officer roles, Indiana Rural Water Association, and Indiana Vector Association. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He was also an avid outdoorsman. John was a loving husband to the love of his life, and a devoted father. His grandchildren were his life. He was a gift from God and a blessing to all that knew him. He adored his family and gave all of himself to his town.
John married Deborah King on March 30, 1974, she survives along with a son, John G. Mugford Jr. (Carrie) of North Manchester, Indiana; daughter, Mrs. Brett (JoHanna) Young of North Manchester, Indiana; two brothers, Raymond Mugford III (Mary Ann) of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and James Mugford of Virginia; two sisters, Mrs. Vince (Diane) Menendez of Pennsylvania and Mrs. Gary (Maryann) Hoch of North Manchester, Indiana; and five grandchildren, Bryce Mugford, Wyatt Young, Brendyn Mugford, Caden Young, and Jocelyn Young. He was preceded in death by two twin daughters, Shawn and Dawn and a sister.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Cordier Auditorium at Manchester University, entrance will be off of East Street in North Manchester, Indiana, with Pastor John B. Lowe officiating the service. In lieu of flowers memorials are directed to Indiana Section AWWA for Support for water for people, 5265 East 82nd Street-Suite 310, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250.

Paul J. "Jim" Rife

Paul J. “Jim” Rife, 87 of Laketon, Indiana passed away at 11:25 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, Indiana. He was born to the late Loren Rife Sr. and Hazel (Ply) Rife on November 2, 1926 in Wabash, Indiana.
He retired from Fisher Body of Marion, Indiana, also he worked at Honeywell and was a farmer. He loved gardening and the outdoors. He was also a collector of John Deere.
He is survived by three sisters, Mary Norris of North Manchester, Indiana, Dorothy Shroyer and Joann Newton both of Florida; nieces, Bonnie Norris and Norma Wingert both of North Manchester, Indiana and nephews, Jim Paul of Wabash, Indiana and Gene Pottinger of Tipton, Indiana .
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana. Inurnment will follow the service at the cemetery.

Beverly Yohe

Beverly Yohe, 66, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 6:07 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Autumn Ridge Rehab Center in Wabash, Indiana. She was born to the late John and Eleanore (Johnson) Kratz on November 2, 1947 in Balitimore, Maryland.
Bev was a 1965 graduate from Eastern High School in Balitmore. She married David Yohe on October 10, 1981, he passed away April 10, 2002. She retired from CSX railroad. Bev was a member of National Ataxia Foundation.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Anne Yohe of Wabash, Indiana; father-in-law, Elden Yohe of Wabash, Indiana; sister-in-laws, Sharon, Marilee, Debbie, and Teresa Yohe and their spouses all of Wabash, Indiana; 11 nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley and Patricia.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992.
