Jason R. Cochran, 51, of Upland, Indiana passed away at 4:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. He was born to Larry Cochran and Elizabeth Elaine (Cook) Cochran on September 30, 1974, in Wabash County, Indiana.
Jason was a 1993 graduate of Southwood High School. He was a very hard worker and worked as a union operator at 3D in Muncie, Indiana. Jason enjoyed meeting his friends at the gun range and was an avid marksman.
Jason is survived by his wife, Tammara (Tami) Wagoner-Cochran of Upland, Indiana; brothers, Joshua Cochran and Dylan Cochran, both of LaFontaine, Indiana; sisters, Lynn Ellis of Wabash, Indiana, and Amy Razor of Delaware, Ohio; nephews, Evan (Elly) Razor, Alec Razor (Rachel Russ), and Ethan Razor (Christine Shih); several aunts, uncles, and numerous friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, stepdaughter, Brittny Pettit, brother, Kevin Cochran, and sister, Hattie Cochran.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 259 N. Main St., Upland, Indiana 46989 with Pastor Evan Razor officiating. Burial will follow at Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, Indiana.
Calling hours will be two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 259 N. Main St., Upland, Indiana 46989.
