Ian J. Stone, 66, of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at 6:43 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at his residence. He was born on June 14, 1959, to Harold A. Stone and Ivy Joyce (Baker) Stone in Torrance, California. 

Ian was a 1976 graduate of Southwood High School. He enjoyed his job as a long-haul truck driver, often taking his dog, Trouble, and his cat, Bojangles, as his travel companions. Ian loved the outdoors and roaming around his property. 

Ian is survived by his partner, Jason Fish of LaFontaine, Indiana; brothers, Howard Stone of Camarillo, California, Roy (Tawny) Stone of Piru, California, and Terrance (Carole) Foreman of New Milton, England; sister, Christine B. (Roger) Taylor of Grover Hill, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Per Ian's request, the family will have a private Celebration of Life.
