David W. Shields

David W. Shields, 62, of Ossian, Indiana, died at 7:58 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center, LaFontaine, Indiana.  He was born September 4, 1954 in Linton, Indiana to Phillip and Dorothy (Stanton) Shields.  He married Anna Perry on July 4, 2003.

David was a United States Army veteran. He also worked as a truck driver and enjoyed collecting coins.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two daughters; two sisters, Mae Holderman, Marion, Indiana and Sue Eakright, LaFontaine, Indiana. He is preceded in death by one brother.

Graveside services will be at later date at Paint Creek Cemetery, Camden, Indiana.  Arrangements entrusted to McDonald Funeral Home, 104 South Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940.
