Henry Charles
Grizzle, 88, of Wabash passed away 4:51 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014 in his
home surrounded by family. He was born
on January 1, 1926 in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late Clayton H. and Pearl
(Ingrham) Grizzle.
He married Hazel Smith on January 22, 1951, she
survives. Henry served his country in
the United States Navy during World War II as a 1st Class Seaman. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, playing
his banjo and guitar and spending time with family. He was a retired farmer and construction
worker. He was a member of AARP.
He is also survived by three sons, Danny Grizzle (Joann) of
Lagro, Indiana, Charles Grizzle of Warren, Indiana and Larry Grizzle (Tammy) of
Wabash, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, Jeanne Rehak (Mike), Daniel Grizzle, Tom
Grizzle (LeeAnn), Darrell Grizzle, Joanne Parks (Aaron), Joe Grizzle (Bethany),
Chuck Grizzle (Jamie), Jason Grizzle, Mandy Nordman (Josh), Ashley Dale
(Jason), Aaron Grizzle (Natalie); and also 18 great-grandchildren; Michael
Rehak III, Elisabeth Rehak, Emily Rehak, Erin Rehak, Elaine Rehak, Kyle
Grizzle, Tyler Grizzle, Taylor Grizzle, Mallory Grizzle, Hannah Fishback, Anna
Parks, Ryan Parks, Matthew Parks, Makayla Grizzle, Madison Grizzle, Brayden
Grizzle, Sydney Nordman and Madison Nordman; and 1 great great-granddaughter,
Brooklyn Fishback survives. He was
preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Cramer, a great grandson Clayton Lee
Grizzle and four brothers and one sister.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28,
2014 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana, 46992 with Aaron
Parks officiating. Burial will follow in
the Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 p.m. until
8 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2014 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family
