Dennis Eugene Miller, 70, of Peru, Indiana passed away at 5:07 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on September 29, 1942 in Wabash County, Indiana.
He was a 1960 Wabash High School graduate and served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from Thermafiber in Wabash, Indiana; he also worked at Gen Corp in Wabash, Indiana. He enjoyed sports, IU basketball, playing the guitar, and was a history buff.
He is survived by his mother, Annabelle (Pottenger) Bahler formerly of Wabash, Indiana and now lives with her daughter in Fort Wayne, Indiana; a daughter, Angie Ogino (Scott Eads) of Lagro, Indiana; a sister, Mrs. Gary (Judy) Wolff of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and a grandson, Nori Ogino. He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Christopher Miller and an aunt, May Pottenger.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Rex Person officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Huntington County, Indiana.

Joan L. Howard
Joan L. Howard, 80, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 2:02 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Autumn Ridge Healthcare Center in Wabash, Indiana. She was born to the late Elmer and Ethel (Brown) Malott on May 7, 1932 in Crown Point, Indiana.
She was a graduate of Glenn Oak High School in Gary, Indiana. She married Lawrence D. Howard in 1956, he passed away in 1994. She was a Civilian Employee at Grissom Air Force Base, also worked at General Tire and in Home Care. She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended Emmanuel Freewill Baptist Church both of Wabash, Indiana.
She is survived by two daughters, Penny Bever and Laurna Bolin both of Wabash, Indiana; three granddaughters, Tammy Murphy, Tracy Cole both of Wabash, Indiana and Jasmine Curry of Liberty, Indiana; brother, Rosco Malott of Rochester, Indiana; two sisters, Hilda Kemptf of Delphi, Indiana and Donna Woods of Rochester, Indiana; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Phillip in 2001, a brother, and three sisters.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana, officiating the service will be Pastor Rick. Burial will follow at Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

He married Delores Griese on November 14, 1961, she survives. He attended North Wesleyan Church in Wabash, Indiana. He is also survived by two sons, Jack C. Harris (Thania) of Warsaw, Indiana and Cecil W. Harris of Wabash, Indiana; two daughters Mrs. Chris (Malinda) Mattern of Wabash, Indiana and Angela Oaks of Valparaiso, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Mindy Norris, Marcus Harris, Melvin Norris, Michael Harris, Mandy Norris, Christin Enyeart, and Brittany Oaks; three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Harris, a brother, two sisters, and daughter-in-law, Jessica Harris.

Charles K. Bowman
Charles K. Bowman, 86 a lifetime resident of Wabash, Indiana passed
away at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in his home in LaFontaine, Indiana.
He was born to the late Walter and Frances (Sprong) Bowman on April 29, 1926 in
Wabash County, Indiana.
He was a 1944 graduate of LaFontaine High School. He married
Norma Jean Wendel on January 27, 1950, they were married 63 years. He was a
lifetime farmer and President of Bowman Agri Corp in LaFontaine, Indiana. He
attended The Chapel of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Along with his wife, Norma Jean; he is survived by two
daughters, Diane Curless of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Kenneth (Joy) Parson of
LaFontaine, Indiana; three sons, Dan Bowman (Georgann) and Kevin Bowman
(Kymber) both of LaFontaine, and Kerry Bowman (Melissa) of Indianapolis,
Indiana; eighteen grandchildren, Jennifer Curless, Brandon Curless, Trisha
Curless, Rob Curless, Danielle Shaw, Laura Langebartels, Lindsay Bowman,
Michael Bowman, Amber Bowman, Kyle Bowman, Evan Bowman, Amy Bowman, Ryan
Bowman, Zac Bowman, Levi Bowman, Grace Bowman, Aaron Parson, and Ashley Parson;
two sisters, Jeanette Fisher of Huntington, Indiana and Mrs. Richard (Miriam)
Wright of Scottsdale, Arizona. He was preceded in death by three brothers and
two sisters.

Larry D. Manning
Larry D. Manning, 72 of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at his home.
He was born to the late Paul F. and Sylvia G. (Clark) Manning on March 12, 1940 in Winchester, Indiana.
He was a 1958 graduate of Winchester High School, then he attended International Business College of Fort Wayne and graduated from Marion College of Marion, Indiana. He married Joan E. Hendrickson on July 7, 1963, she survives. He served his country in the United States Army Reserve. Larry retired from General Motors of Marion, Indiana as a quality engineer in 2000, he also had Manning Accounting Service for 42 yrs and he recently passed the certification exam to become a registered tax preparer. He served as Liberty Township Trustee for 2 terms. He was a member of LaFontaine Christian Church of LaFontaine, Indiana. Larry enjoyed being involved with his church and community. He was an Elder, trustee, and financial secretary of LaFontaine Christian Church, served as Operations Director of Emergency Management Agency, board member and treasurer of Life Center in Wabash,board member and volunteer of Habitat for Humanity, board member and treasurer of Troyer Memorial Library, treasurer for LaFontaine Cub Scout Troop, Amateur Radio operator call sign N9AFI, 50 year member LaFontaine Masonic Lodge no 295, board member and treasurer of Rainbow Christian Camp.
Along with his wife, Joan; he is survived by son, Greg D. Manning (Mindy) of LaFontaine, Indiana; two daughters, Mrs. David (Shari) Ferris of Fishers, Indiana and Mrs. Eric (Lori) Rose of Franklin, Indiana; sister, Mrs. Jerry (Janet) Barnaby of Indianapolis, Indiana; and nine grandchildren. He is preceded in death by daughter, Tami Jo Manning and two brothers, Jerald and Jim.
