Samuel T. George

Samuel T. George, 81, of Wabash, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at his home. He was born to the late William and Osa (Long) George on December 25, 1933 in Muncie, Indiana.
He was a graduate of Wabash High School and Ball State University. Samuel served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Diehl of Wabash, Indiana and AGP Inc. of Peru, Indiana. In his later years, he spent time doing independent car sales and then retiring as the Treasurer of Eagles Lodge #549 of Wabash, Indiana. He was a member of Eagles Lodge of Wabash, Indiana.
He is survived by son, Sam (Luanne) George of Lenexa, Kansas; three daughters, Mrs. Dana (Tony) Holmes of Wabash, Indiana, Mrs. Laurie (Kenneth) White of Bluffton, Indiana and Mrs. Angie (Jack) Welter of Elkhart, Indiana; brother, Glenn George of Clermont, Florida; best friend, Mary E. Morris of Wabash, Indiana; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ned George, along with his parents.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Mary Brewer-Fawley

Mary Brewer-Fawley, 95, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 10:43 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Millers Merry Manor in Peru, Indiana. She was born to the late Orville and Ethel Clark on October 26, 1919 in Middlebury, Indiana.
She married R.D. Brewer, he passed away on January 17, 1996, then she married Robert Fawley, he passed away on June 4, 2012. She was a homemaker to her family. She also worked at Northfield High School as a custodian and retired from General Tire in Wabash, Indiana after 25 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 2067 were she was a life member. She enjoyed needle work, gardening, and being with her family.
She is survived by son, Daniel Wood (Nancy) of Carrollton, Georgia; daughter, Patricia Hopper (Jeff) of Denver, Indiana; adopted daughter, Mary Marie Martin; 2 sister in laws, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, daughter, sister, grandson, and 2 great grandsons.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Brad Wright officiating.

Larry R. Eib

Larry R. Eib, 75, of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at 5:42 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on July 21, 1939 at his parents’ home Virginia and Russell Eib. He was one of 6 children. He attended Van Buren School all 12 years. He started working at Foster Forbs at the age of 18 and stayed there until the plant was closed. He kept the conveyers running and other repair jobs that were needed. He worked there a total of 43 years. He was a member of Glass Workers Union, held several offices and was on the apprentice committee for the union and factory. He was a member and past president of the LaFontaine Lions Club, member of the LaFontaine Christian Church. He received the Melvin Jones Fellows for his service to the Lions. He overseen and helped to maintained the LaFontaine Community Building for the LaFontiane Lions for many years.
He married Ethel Himelick in 1992, she survives. They have 6 children between them. Larry’s three daughters Lorie Perez of Victoria, Texas; Annie Shields and Jackee Eib of Marion, Indiana; three step children, Bill McKinley (Lisha) of Wabash, Indiana, Charles McKinley of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Tina (Andy) Reed of Pittsboro, Indiana; grandchildren, Nicci (Lance) Potter of Bloomingdale, Indiana, Blake (Mell) Shields of Muncie, Indiana, Russell and Virginia Perez of Victoria, Texas; step grandchildren, Ashley (Mike) Vandermark of LaFontaine, Indiana, Zoe and Valerie Reed of Pittsboro, Indiana; great grandson, Ryan Perez of Victoria, Texas; step great granddaughters, Lucy, Lilia, and Lizzy Vandermark all of LaFontiane, Indiana. Siblings are Jerry Eib of Angola, Indiana and Joe (Linda) Eib of Van Buren, Indiana, Alice Henderson of Marion, Indiana; Linda (Jack) Elliott of Marion, Indiana and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. His parents, brother, Steve, sister-in-law, Sue and step grandson, Brodey McKinley went before him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the LaFontaine Christian Church, 202 Bruner Pike, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940, with Pastor Brad Wright officiating on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. with calling one hour before. In place of flowers please donate to LaFontaine Lions Club or LaFontaine Christian Church.

Richard L. Thompson

Richard L. Thompson, 78, of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at 8:43 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Wellbrooke of Wabash in Wabash, Indiana. He was born to the late John S. and Leona (Beidel) Thompson on May 9, 1936 in LaFontaine, Indiana.
Richard graduated from LaFontaine High School in 1954. He married Jeanette Cable on October 7, 1956, she survives. Richard was a farmer, worked at General Motors for 36 years, as a carpenter and sold insurance for Shelter Insurance. He was very active in his community and served the town of LaFontaine, Indiana. Richard was a former member of the LaFontaine Lions Club, served as Liberty Township Trustee, and was also a member of the U.A.W.. He was a faithful member of Boundary Line Church of Christ of LaFontaine, Indiana, where he did part-time preaching.
Along with his wife, Jeanette; he is also survived by his daughter, Kimberly Schirripa (Domenico) of Granger, Indiana; grandchildren, Ashley Henderson (Mike); Domenico Blake Schirripa, and Salvatore Schirripa; and great grandchild, Logan Henderson. His son, Kerry Thompson (Margarita) of Fairmount, Indiana; grandchildren, Trent Thompson (Tiffany Cartwright) and Kacy Thompson (Krissy Howard); step grandchildren, Sabrina Wyatt (Chad) and Cassandra Latorre; step great grandchildren, Tristyn Howel, Trinidy Wyatt, Mariah Wyatt, and Chad Wyatt Jr. His daughter, Tamara Moore of Topeka, Kansas; grandchildren, Andrea Moore, Alexandra Moore Friedman (Adam). Brother, Robert Thompson (Lorraine) of LaFontaine, Indiana; sisters, Dolores Snyder (John-deceased) of LaFontaine, Indiana and Kay White of Roann, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940. Burial will follow in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana. Preferred memorials are directed to LaFontaine Lions Club or Liberty Township Fire Department in care of the funeral home.

Jack Lee Harris

Jack Lee Harris, 82, a Lafontaine resident, he went peacefully to the Lord on March 6th 2015 at Parkview Wabash County Hospital. Born October 8th, 1932 in Wabash, Indiana, to Kenneth Harris and Helen (Halderman) Harris, of Wabash, IN.
Jack, was a veteran of the United States Army 179th Infantry, where he served in Korea. Jack married Oneda “Dee” Music on November 6th, 1955. She survives. He was preceded in death by, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Jack leaves behind his wife, along with 2 sons, Philip J. Harris, and Gregory L. Harris, A daughter, Patricia A Harris, and sister, Mrs. John Helen Snyder. Jack retired from GM Fisherbody in Marion, where 29 of the 31 years he worked there he was a supervisor. He was a 46 year member of the Church of Christ at Treaty, where he served in different types of committees throughout the church.  
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10th , 2015 at Church of Christ at Treaty, 6793 S. 50 E Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Doug Oakes officiating. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana. Preferred memorial are directed to Church of Christ at Treaty, 6793 S. 50 E Wabash, Indiana 46992

Graham David Lorenz

Graham David Lorenz, 17 months old, born on September 16, 2013 in Fort Wayne, Indiana was granted his angel wings on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Graham had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet very memorable life.
Graham is survived by his loving parents, Casey A. Lorenz and Paige L. Moore of Wabash, Indiana; paternal grandparents, Scott Lorenz (Tina) of Wabash, Indiana and Dani J. Crandell of Wabash, Indiana; maternal grandparents, David and Audra Moore of Columbia City, Indiana; paternal great grandparents, George and Sandy Lorenz of Wabash, Indiana, and the late Dan and Doris Crandell; maternal great grandparents, William and Marian Moore of Columbia City, Indiana, and Tamara Arnold of Port St. Lucie, Florida; aunt, Jessica Lorenz of Wabash, Indiana and uncle, Brandon Moore of Columbia City, Indiana; and cousins, Serenity and Ryleigh Moore of Churubusco, Indiana.
“You will always be our little Mister" and Graham was a very vibrant and happy child.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor David Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana 46992.

Donna F. Easthom

Donna F. Easthom, 66, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 2:41 a.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born to the late Walter Cox and Louise (Edmond) Cox Hill on February 2, 1949 in Harlan, Kentucky.  She retired from Wabash Magnetics of Wabash, Indiana.
She is survived by three sons, Donald Samons, Ronnie Skaggs, James Skaggs all of Wabash, Indiana; two daughters, Lisa Hernandez and Teresa Cox both of Wabash, Indiana; brother, Bill Cox of Peru, Indiana; sister, Dolly Hubbard of Wabash, Indiana; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Burial will follow in the Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
