Donald Mark

 

Donald E. Mark, 67, of Wabash, formerly of Elwood, Indiana passed away at 3:34 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born to James B. Mark and Delilah Daughtery on June 21, 1955, in Marion, Indiana.

Donald retired from the City of Elwood Water Treatment Plant. He loved to gamble, travel, fish, and hunt.

Donald is survived by his mother, Delilah Daughtery of Gas City, Indiana; step-mother, Vickie Mark of Wabash, Indiana; one daughter, Rachel (Josh) Knopp of Alexandria, Indiana; one grandson, Cole Mark Conley; brothers, Jack (Jayne) Mark of Wabash, Indiana, James (Linda) Mark Jr. of Holiday, Florida, Brad Daughtery of Tennessee; sisters, Sandra Mark and Sue Ann Atkinson, both of Wabash, Indiana, Kim (Kirk) Heyde of Huntington, Indiana, Cindy (Ronnie) Feluer of Warren, Indiana. Donald is proceeded in death by his father, and one son, William B.J. Mark, who passed away on December 19, 2007.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Ave. Wabash, Indiana 46992 with Pastor Charles Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Elwood City Cemetery in Elwood, Indiana.

Calling hours will be Monday, May 15, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992.

Mary E. Brane

 

Mary E. Brane, 81, a lifetime resident of LaFontaine, passed away at 8:02 a.m., on May 9, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital Heart Center in Carmel, Indiana.  She was born in LaFontaine, on September 7, 1941, to Clarence and Dorothy (Parker) Stuber.

Mary was a graduate of LaFontaine High School.  She married Claude Allan on July 2, 1961. She was a homemaker. Mary was a member of the LaFontaine United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #301 LaFontaine, Indiana, LaFontaine Literary Club, LaFontaine Bridge Club, and was a Wabash County Health Department Board member.

Mary is survived by her two sons, Michael (Lori) Brane and Samuel (Patricia) Brane, both of LaFontaine; grandchildren, Meghan (Bryce) Doyle, Zachary Brane, Rachel Brane, Daniel (Jordan) Brane; and one great grandchild, Daisy Doyle. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Homes, LaFontaine Chapel, 104 South Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940 with cousin Dr. Patricia Walters leading the service.  Burial will follow at LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the funeral home.

Estefana White

 

Estefana White, 84, of Wabash, IN, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, in Pensacola, Florida. She was born on December 26, 1938, to Herculano and Natalia (Tavara) Cruz in Dallas, TX.

Estefana was a longtime resident and raised her family in Wabash. She was a dedicated employee and retired from Dana in Andrews, IN, and then continued to be a caregiver for the elderly for many years. She was known for her talents at sewing and crocheting. In her spare time, Estefana liked to watch westerns on television and engage others in a competitive board or card game. She enjoyed shopping and always liked eating at Arby’s. She was strong in her faith and Estefana attended church and listened to gospel music as often as she could. Most of all, she adored her family. Estefana cherished the time spent with her family and treasured each family reunion. She was a devoted mom, wonderful grandmother, loving sister, exceptional aunt and a caring friend to many.

Estefana is survived by her children, Gary White of Tampa, FL, Kristopher White of Tampa, FL, Connie White of Wabash, IN, and Kathrine White of Pensacola, FL; brothers, Lucas Cruz, Joseph Cruz, Max Cruz, and Manuel Cruz; sister, Cerila Brim; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Home 231 Falls Ave. Wabash, Indiana. Burial will follow at Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery.

Lola M. Glazier

 

Lola M. Glazier, 100, a lifetime resident of Wabash, Indiana passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at her daughter's residence in Alexandria, Virginia. She was born to Forrest G. and Eva (Cripe) Baer on July 8, 1922.

Lola was a 1940 graduate of Wabash High School then attended one year at Nebraska University. Lola married Charles Frederick Glazier on June 2, 1946. He passed away on May 22, 1981. She worked for Public Services Co. of Indiana and was a seamstress. Lola was a member of Wabash Presbyterian Church in Wabash, Eastern Star in Wabash, Indiana, and American Legion Post 15 Auxiliary. Lola was best knowing for seamstress and sewing work for six generations of families in the Wabash area. 

Lola is survived by her daughter, Sara Ellen Glazier of Alexandria, Virginia; six nephews, Thomas Hoover of Arizona, Richard Hoover of Illinois, Michael Bear of Florida, Joe Baer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Tim Christle of Texas, Charles (Carol) Ply of Michigan; five nieces, Marian Denney of Wabash, Indiana, Nancy Flowers of Muncie, Indiana, Patty Glass of Wabash, Indiana, Donna Highley of Wabash, Indiana, Kathy Kolar of Centennial, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Merle Glazier, one brother, Donald Baer, and three sisters, Marcea Hoover, Glenda Jones, Anna Lee Christle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Home 231 Falls Ave. Wabash, Indiana. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery.

Roger A. Cramer

 

Roger A. Cramer, 84, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Markle Health and Rehabilitation. He was born to Edward and Martha Ivan (Haley) Cramer on March 3, 1939, in Wabash, Indiana.

Roger was a 1957 graduate of Wabash High School. He served in the United States Air Force. Roger retired from General Electric Company in Fort Wayne after 25 years.

Roger is survived by four daughters, Brenda (Seth) Turrin of Ossian, Indiana, Jacqueline (William) Davis of Mt. Etna, Indiana, Lisa (Kevin) Decker of Van Wert, Ohio, Marcia (Charlie) Cramer-Hodle of Tanner, Alabama; six grandchildren, Torrie Bartalone, Lorrie Decker, Brett Davis, Jessica Davis, Paul Turrin, Samuel Turrin; five great-grandchildren, Daniel Bartalone Jr., Jay Jeter Bartalone, Violet Dressler, Camille Dressler, Vincen Dressler. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Melvin Cramer, Donald Cramer, Philip Cramer, and three sisters, Virginia Cox, Janice Ann King, and Thelma Bianco.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Home 231 Falls Ave. Wabash, Indiana. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery.

Michael T. Venosky

 

Michael T. Venosky, 54, a lifetime resident of Wabash, passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Waters of Wabash West. He was born on December 29, 1968, to Walter Ansel and Debra (Hamilton) Beeks in Wabash, Indiana.

Michael was a 1988 graduate of Wabash High School. Michael married Stacie Elaine Daugherty on October 28, 1995. She passed away on October 15, 2004. He attended Christian Heritage Church in Wabash. He played softball in a traveling league and loved the outdoors.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Madison Venosky (Chase Bickel) of Wabash, Indiana; his mother, Debra Beeks of Wabash, Indiana; one brother, Terry Hamilton of Wabash, Indiana; one sister, Traci (Greg) Thompson of Wabash, Indiana. He is preceded in death by father, his wife, two brothers, David and Scott Brackett, and his grandparents, Stan and Jackie Venosky that adopted Michael and raised him.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992 with Pastor Tim Prater officiating.

 Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the funeral home.

Myrtle I. Moore

 

Myrtle I. Moore, 84, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 11:55 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023, at her son’s residence in Wabash. She was born to Owen and Ethel (Romans) Miller on January 17, 1939, in Hitchins, Kentucky.

Myrtle was a homemaker. She was a member of Wabash Alliance Church in Wabash, Indiana.

Myrtle is survived by three sons, Ben (Carrie) Moore of Wabash, Indiana, Dennis (Kimberly) Moore of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, Ronald (Michelle) Moore of Lagro, Indiana; one daughter, Liz (Jeff) Losher of Roann, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, Brent Losher, Scott Losher, Meagan Green, Dannielle Losher, Kipp Moore, Matthias Moore, Dustin Moore, Anna Chaplin, Caleb Moore, Zackary Moore, Shaylin Butler; 14 great-grandchildren, Skylar Losher, Dylan Losher, Melanie Losher, Kaylyn Green, Caeden Green, Camden Green, Maddux Green, Brennen Losher, Harper Levelle, Alora Hampton, Aryah Chaplin, BenJeana Chaplin, Aria Chaplin, Kieran Moore; one great great-grandchild, Skylar Losher II; one sister, Violet Miller of Circleville, Ohio.
