Donald D. Sellers

Donald D. Sellers, 45, of Kewanna, Indiana passed away at 12:51 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born to the late Chester and Mary Maxine (Stackhouse) Sellers on December 25, 1968 in Wabash, Indiana.

He married Katherine Ray on December 27, 2000, she survives. He worked as a coiler for Winamac Coil Spring in Kewanna, Indiana.  He was a member of the VFW Post 655 in Fulton County, Indiana.

He is also survived by 5 sons, Joseph Behny of Peru, Indiana, Dustin Sellers of Kentucky, Grover Eckelbarger of Peru, Indiana, Travis Seleck of Kewanna, Indiana, and Michael Eudy of Peru, Indiana; 2 daughters, Candace Akin of Kentucky and Katie Shirell of Rochester, Indiana; brother, Bill Sellers of Andrews, Indiana; sisters, Sue Derck of Wabash, Indiana, Mia Miller of Wabash, Indiana, Lisa Sellers of Wabash, Indiana, and Carol Kusler of Huntington, Indiana; 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Randall.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Burial will follow in the Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

James L. Sailors

James L. Sailors, 86, Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Port Charlotte Hospice Home in Port Charlotte, Florida. He was born to the late Russell and Mary K. (Hunt) Sailors on March 9, 1927 in LaFontaine, Indiana.

He was formerly married to Bette Cook, who passed away on May 31, 2005. Jim was an owner of Unique Printing & Labels Inc. formerly in Indianapolis, now in Greenfield, Indiana. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the United Methodist faith. He also loved to travel all over the world and enjoyed being with his family.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James (Terri) Vogel of Knightstown, Indiana and Mrs. Greg (Dixie) Adamson of Pittsboro, Indiana; brother, Allen “Bud” Sailors of LaFontaine, Indiana; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Russell and Bruce Sailors; brother, Dean Sailors and sister, Ellen Cravens.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940, officiating the service will be Pastor Guy Provance. Burial will follow in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana. Myron E. Bishir Sr.

Myron E. Bishir Sr., 72, of Wabash passed away at 4:10 p.m on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Wellbrooke of Wabash in Wabash, Indiana. He was born to the late Merrill Bishir and Jane (Dillon) Bishir on September 30, 1941 in Marion, Indiana.

He retired from Union Iron Worker Local 147 of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was a member of American Legion Post 248 in Lagro, Indiana.

He is survived by two sons, Myron Bishir Jr. (Shelia) and Merrill Bishir both of Wabash, Indiana; two daugthers, Renea Adkins and Marti Bishir both of Peru, Indiana; 3 brothers, Robert Bishir (Teri) of Florida, David Bishir (Beverly) of Churubusco, Indiana, and Jerry Bishir (Sheryl) of Marion, Indiana; 3 sisters, Diane Feiler of Wisconsin, Mrs. Jim (Julie) Weaver of Marion, Indiana, Susan Sunday of Wisconsin; step mother, Barbara Bishir of Marion, Indiana; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a great grandchild.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, 1100 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Ben Gray officiating. Inurnment will follow at Memorial Lawns Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Wabash/Miami County Home Healthcare and Hospice, 710 N. East Street, Wabash, Indiana 46992.

James "Jim" Driscoll

James “Jim” Driscoll, 72, of North Manchester, Indiana passed away 6:10 p.m. at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, Indiana. He was born the late Mark and Lorene (Miller) Driscoll on March 15, 1941 in Wabash, Indiana.

He served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked in Maintenance. He was a member of American Legion Post 15 and Wabash Eagles Lodge both of Wabash, Indiana.

He is survived by a companion, Candace Burns of North Manchester, Indiana; children, Heather Bolen of Kokomo, Indiana, Valorie Payne of West Virginia, and Robert Bakehorn of Wabash, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Jaden Payne, Jasmine Payne, Jayce Payne, Sylvia Bakehorn, Anna Bakehorn, Mason Bolen, and Tip-E Bolen; four brothers, Michael Driscoll (Judy) of Peru, Indiana, Patrick Driscoll (Joanie) of Florida, Dan Driscoll (Pam) of Wabash, Indiana; and Gary Driscoll of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was preceded death by a brother, Stephen.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, January 13, 2014 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Dan Boone officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Frank M. Harris

Frank M. Harris, 51, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 12:55 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 in his home. He was born on August 16, 1962 in Tipton, Indiana to the late Frank T. Harris and Julia (Idlewine) Harris, she survives in Wabash, Indiana.

Frank was a 1981 Northfield High School graduate. He worked as a tree trimmer in the family owned business, also in Maintenance at Senior Town in Wabash.

He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. William (Marcia) Johnson of Wabash, Indiana; two nieces, Mrs. Lee (Ashley) Shafer of Roann, Indiana and Cricket Carroll of Wabash, Indiana; also 3 grandnieces and 1 grandnephew.

Funeral Service will be 3 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Burial will follow in the Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Juanita Thomas

Juanita Thomas, 85, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 7:55 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born to the late Isaiah and Lorena (Rousey) Harrell on December 17, 1928 in LaFontaine, Indiana.

She was a 1945 graduate from LaFontaine High School. He married Arden D. Thomas on July 11, 1953, he passed away October 30, 2013. She started working in 1974 at Richards Restaurant, she also worked at PaPa Joes Restaurant in Wabash, Indiana. She was a homemaker to her family. She was a member of American Legion Post 15 Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 286 Ladies Auxiliary, and Moose Lodge 1195 all of Wabash, Indiana. She was also a member of New Life Baptist Church of Wabash, Indiana.

She is survived by three granddaughters, Holly Sutton, Mrs. Bobby (Teresa) Velasquez, and April Sutton; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Sutton in 1995, a brother, and two sisters.

Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Scott Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Servia, Indiana.

Mildred Maxine Deeter

Mildred Maxine Deeter, 92, formerly of Somerset, Indiana passed away at 6:40 a.m. on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in LaFontaine, Indiana. She was born to the late Phillipp and Olive (Johnson) Dillinger on February 12, 1921 in Green Castle, Indiana. She married Verlin Deeter in December of 1945, he passed away in 1994.

She is survived by two step sons, Ronald “Bud” Deeter and Joe Deeter (Sharon) both of Wabash, Indiana; brother, Wayne Dillinger (Wilma Mae) of Arkansas; two daughter in laws, Laureen Deeter of Wabash, Indiana and Isabelle Lewis of Lagro, Indiana; 14 step grandchildren and 26 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two step sons, Max Deeter and Ben Deeter, a brother and sister.

A Private family service will be held at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Ken Goble officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Indiana.
