Anthony B. Ratliff, 61, of Wabash, Indiana went to be with the Lord at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash, Indiana. He was born to the late Elmer and Roberta (McCarty) Ratliff on November 28, 1951 in Leonard, Kentucky.
He married Connie Prater on April 14, 1995, she survives. He worked at the Treaty Grain Elevator in Treaty, Indiana. He was a member of Christian Heritage Church of Wabash, Indiana. He loved going to church and watching western movies.
He is also survived by a son, Tommy Blair of Wabash, Indiana; daughter, Angie Newsome of Wabash, Indiana; his two other kids are Sammi and Snowball; three grandchildren, Melissa Newsome and Matthew Newsome both of Wabash, Indiana and Payten Blair of Huntington, Indiana; sister, Alma Mackenzie of Ohio. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Christian Heritage Church, 2776 River Road, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will follow in the Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Wayne L. Kistler
Wayne L. Kistler, 82, of Mexico, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at his home. He was born to the late Joseph and Mabel (Weaver) Kistler on January 8, 1931 in Wabash County, Indiana. Wayne was a 1948 graduate from Sweetser High School.
He married Jacqueline Huffman on July 3, 1969, she survives. Wayne served his country in the United States Air Force from 1948 until 1954. He owned a KAT Trucking Company in Kouts, Indiana and was a farmer He was a member of the LaFontaine Christian Church and LaFontaine IOOF Lodge.
He is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Steve (Beth Ann) Butch-Gottlieb of Connersville, Indiana, Mrs. David (Pamela) Osborne of Elkhart, Indiana; three step daughters, Mrs. Jim (Rebecca) Patterson of Sylva, North Carolina, Mrs. Jay (Tricia) Towner of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Richard (Roberta) Stent of Pittsboro, Indiana; two step sons, Scott Sutton (Kathy) of Valparaiso, Indiana and Mark Sutton (Robin) of Newnan, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral Service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County, Indiana.

Bradley Evan Strunk
Bradley Evan Strunk, 41, of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at approximately 9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at his home. He was born on February 29, 1972 in Elwood, Indiana to Joseph and Anna Mae (Wells) Strunk Sr., they survive in LaFontaine, Indiana.
He was a 1991 Graduate of Southwood High School. Bradley won state in wrestling Witko and GB Double A Championship. He was a physical therapist. He was a member of Indiana Pit Fighting Championship.
Along with his parents he is survived by a brother, Joseph Matthew Strunk Jr. of LaFontaine, Indiana.

J.R. Tyson
J.R. Tyson, 72, formerly of Wabash, Indiana died at 4:35 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Bayfront Hospice Care Unit in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was born in Rochester, Indiana on May 20, 1941 to Byron and Florence Louise (Miller) Tyson, his mother survives.
He married Barbara Thrush on June 2, 1958 in Wabash, Indiana, she survives. He is a retired building contractor. He attended the Liberty Baptist Church in Florida.
He is also survived by two sons Rick Tyson (Brenda) of Wabash, Indiana and Chris Tyson (Carrie) of LaFontaine, Indiana; a daughter, Lisa Kellogg (Paul) of Wilmore, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Stephanie Haecker, Rick Tyson, Jessica Tyson, Cody Tyson, Jonathon Kellogg, and Jordan Kellogg; four great grandchildren, Allie Haecker, Averi Haecker, Taylor Haecker, and Colin Tyson; brother, Charles Tyson (Muirel) of Wabash, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Tyson and two sisters, Miriam Bone and Margie Parrett.

Walter H. "Walt" Unger
Walter H. “Walt” Unger, 94, of rural Wabash, Indiana passed away at 2:50 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Wellbrooke of Wabash. He was born to the late Jacob and Clara (Smith) Unger on September 20, 1918 in Richvalley, Indiana.
Walt married Eloise L. Shanafelt on December 13, 1947, she survives. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII and Korea. He retired as a Mechanic Auto Tech at the Ford Garage after 52 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 15 of Wabash, Indiana for 60 years.
He is also survived by two sons, Denny Unger (Alicia) of North Manchester, Indiana and Richard Unger (Robin) of Wabash, Indiana; four grandchildren, Patrick Unger (Kristi) of Wabash, Indiana, Joseph Unger of Iowa, Daniel Unger (Crystal) of Wabash, Indiana, and Donald Unger (Ashley) of LaFontaine, Indiana; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, David Unger, a brother and three sisters.
