Dolli Ann Reed


Dolli Ann Reed, 43 of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at her home.  She was born to the late Frank Watson Sr. and Peggy Ann (Simpson) Fraley on May 11, 1970 in Wabash, Indiana.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony Reed of Albion Indiana, and Timothy J. Reed of Wabash, Indiana; three daughters, Dolly Watson and Nicole Reed of Albion, Indiana, Amanda Reed of Wabash, Indiana; three brothers, James Watson of Urbana, Indiana and John Watson and Frank Watson Jr. of Wabash, Indiana; two sisters, Debra Clark of Silver Lake, Indiana and Billie Wilcox of Wabash, Indiana; four grandchildren, Haley Higgins, Gabriel Reed, Noah Reed and Levi Reed.  

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash Indiana 46992, with Pastor Ralph Johnson.  Burial will follow in the Friends Cemetery, in Wabash, Indiana.  Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.mcdonaldfunerals.com

Phil H. Miltenberger

Phil H. Miltenberger, 80, of Marion, Indiana formerly of Wabash County passed away 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Colonial Oaks Healthcare Center in Marion, Indiana. He was born to the late Lemoine and Ruth (Hunt) Miltenberger on March 21, 1933 in Wabash County, Indiana.

He served his country in the United States Army in Korea. He married Ann L. Shenefield on April 5, 1953, she survives. He was a carpenter, he farmed, and he also worked at Whites Residential. He was a member of Woodlawn Hills Church of Christ in Marion, Indiana. He was also a member of Grant County VFW of Marion, Indiana.

He is also survived by two sons, Phil Miltenberger (Kathy) of Ypsilanti, Michigan and Scott Miltenberger (Bonnie) of Marion, Indiana; three daughters, Mrs. Keith (Lili) Dailey of Warsaw, Indiana, Mrs. Gary (Luann) Dillon of Wabash, Indiana, and Mrs. James (Leann) Abbott of Gas City, Indiana; sister, Mrs. Roger (Nancy) Panning of Wabash, Indiana; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Max Miltenberger.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2013 at LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana 46940, with Bruce Everett officiating. Burial will follow in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers to Woodlawn Hills Church of Christ, 2718 N Wabash Rd.,  Marion, IN 46952.

Dianna Kay Nicely

Dianna Kay Nicely, 69, of Navarre, Florida, formerly of Wabash, Indiana passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Gulf Breeze Hospital in Florida. She was born to Harold H. and Mabel (Bechdol) Eltzroth on July 31, 1943 in Peru, Indiana.

She married Richard P. Nicely on December 7, 1963, he survives. She was a house wife to her family. She is survived by two sons, Darrin P. Nicely (Melissa) of Navarre, Florida and Mark R. Nicely (Denise) of Tampa, Florida; two brothers, Michael Eltzroth (Francis) of Wabash, Indiana and Dean Eltzroth (Betty) of Peru, Indiana; sister, Marilyn Stambaugh of Peru, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Andrew and Alexandra Nicely. She was preceded in death by daughter, Terri Lynne Nicely on December 8, 1964 and a sister.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery in Servia, Indiana, with Pastor Jeremy Yeadon officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Servia, Indiana.

Walter L. Figert

Walter L. Figert, 83, Wabash, died Tuesday morning, July 2, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor East, Wabash.
He was born to Walter E. and Pearl (Grisso) Figert, on Oct. 16, 1929, in Wabash. He was one of 11 children.
 
He worked at B. Walters of Wabash from 1947 until he retired in 1992. He also worked t the Rock City Café where he enjoyed visiting with friends and family.
 
Mr. Figert is survived by a son, Jerry L. Figert of Wabash; a sister, Reberta Baumbauer, Wabash; two brothers, Malcom Figert of Kentucky and Earl Figert of Florida; five grandchildren, Joe (Lisa) Gribben, Wabash, Rachel Disky, Wabash, Derek (Meg) Brock, Wabash, Zachary Figert, Roann and Samuel Figert, Roann; and five great-grandchildren.

Marilou Mullett

Marilou Mullett, 84, of Wabash, Indiana passed away 4:10 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash, Indiana. She was born to the late Basil and Alice (Wilkinson) Roberts on February 12, 1929 in Peru, Indiana.

She was a Peru High School graduate of 1947. She married Denny Lee Mullett on June 30, 1962, he passed away January 28, 2003. She was a homemaker to her family.  She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church of Wabash, Indiana. She was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 15 of Wabash, Indiana. Marilou was an avid volunteer throughout the community for many organizations.

She is survived by her children, Logan Sample of Marion, Indiana, Daniel Sample (Virginia) of Owasso, Oklahoma, Kurt Mullett and Kent Mullett (Tammy) of both Wabash, Indiana, Beverly Gullotti, Theresa Hamilton (Bill), and Tina Smith (Doug) all of Wabash, Indiana; sister, Julia Boxell of Warsaw, Indiana; twenty grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bethanie Sample, four brothers, and five sisters.

Mass of a Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2013 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 207 N. Cass Street, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Burial will follow in the Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Rosary at 6 p.m.. Terry R. Starbuck

Terry R. Starbuck, 66, of Huntington, Indiana passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Autumn Ridge Healthcare Center in Wabash, Indiana. He was born to the late Harold and Garnett “Babe” (Middleton) Starbuck on August 18, 1946 in Wabash, Indiana.

He was a 1964 graduate of Andrews High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Terry retired from Mann’s Plumbing and Heating of Huntington, Indiana.  He was a member of American Legion in Huntington, Indiana.

He is survived by son, Scott Stoner of Nebraska and daughter, Tara Starbuck of Huntington, Indiana; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five sisters.

Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 11201 S Marion Road 35, Marion, Indiana 46952. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
